My hometown, beautiful St. Petersburg, FL, holds lots of art events. Second Saturday Art Walk is becoming one of my favorites: the best way to connect with the local art community, chat with gallery owners, art lovers and art collectors. St. Pete has the most creative community in the US!
First show at Mirella’s “Duetto,” was a collaboration with a friend of mine and Tampa Bay artist, Linda Roberts. My last Art Walk, I spent at the Mirella Cimato Gallery, sharing the space with another artist, Anna Sandova. She has a very unique style: mixing different medias on canvas and implementing embroidery.

Since Mirella’s gallery is a part of Opera Central and sharing the building with our opera company, I brought my new piece, called Opera, to my new installation. But the story of this painting and my thoughts about it will be shared in another blog.
