LAB the Podcast – Zach Elliott interviews Dee Perconti about Human Trafficking

January 31, 2025 Zach Elliott, founder and Executive Director of Vuvivo interviewed Dee Perconti on LAB the podcast. The subject was human trafficking, Rapha International,and Dee’s art depicting child trafficking.
Dee Chairs the Board of Directors for Rapha International, an organization that works to end the trafficking of children, one child, one family and one community at a time. They also discussed three of Dee’s canvases which portray the devastation of abuse and exploitation on children, and also the hope and healing that can come later.
The first photo speaks to the brokenness of body and spirit that can happen.
The second ( a cemetery) shows that trafficking can lead to death.
The third is of a girl who came to one of our Rapha International campuses after being trafficked and who went on to being very successful and who is filled with hope and promise.
